Terms and Conditions
Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases of products through Hadjikyriakos & Sons e-commerce site and for all information, documents, graphics, films for which music and/or other services which are displayed within.
Drawings, depictions, images, pattern collections, details, technical data, dimension and performance descriptions shown in Hadjikyriakos & Sons e-commerce site are non-binding and are subject to change. We reserve our rights to eventual product changes /replacements.
For optimum use of Hadjikyriakos & Sons e-commerce site, for smooth running of eventually placing articles in the e-commerce site shopping cart and payment procedures, please amend your browser settings to allow both cookies as well as pop-ups.
Contractual conclusion and withdrawal
By virtue of the presentation of our goods, you are invited to submit your request in the form of a purchase order. By accepting your offer we will send you a purchase confirmation by email within one hour. By the same token we shall also inform you by return email if we are not able to accept your order.
In the event that despite the acceptance of your order, goods are eventually not available, we have the right to withdraw from the agreement. In this event we will inform you promptly about the non-availability of the ordered goods and if you have already paid for these, we shall immediately reimburse in full. All order quantities accepted apply to standard household quantities.
Please note that online sale of our goods within our e-commerce site may only be performed within the free boundaries of the Republic of Cyprus.
Delivery/Shipping and Installation charges
You have the choice of receiving your order either via courier or by collecting it yourself from a shop of your preference.
If you have selected the second method, please wait for call from a representative in order to inform you when (usually the next working day) your order will be ready for collection, before visiting the shop.
A slight delay in shipping might occur during holiday periods (Christmas, Easter, Summer).
Delivery shall be made to the delivery address specified by the ordering party.
All delivery requests will be carried out and delivered to your door by ACS Courier (Cyprus). The delivery charge is €9.20 (VAT Included).
In case the goods to be delivered require installation and technical skills, our warehouse will be contacting you directly to arrange a mutually convenient time for delivery.
In that case only, deliveries shall be made using our means and an installation fee will be charged (see below).
Installation of TV Sets and Home Entertainment
Installation of TV sets and Home Entertainment equipment costs €45 VAT included (price excludes shipping charge).
Installation of Air Conditioners
The installation of Air Conditioners is not included in the selling price. The installation cost is variable and depends on the complexity of the installation (price excludes shipping charge).
Installation of White Goods (Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Fridges, Freezers, Dryers, Ovens, Hobs, etc)

Free Recycling
For most products we can take away your old appliance for you when we deliver your new one. This service is completely free.
Payment
Prices include VAT. Payment may be made using a valid credit card issued by one of the following companies MasterCard and Visa, processed by JCC Payment Systems Ltd. The goods shall remain our property and shall not be dispatched before payment has been received in full.
Returns
Unopened goods, in their original and undamaged packing may be returned within 14 days and a full credit note will be issued. The return costs must be borne by the ordering party. In the event that you exercise your right of return of the goods, the purchase agreement shall lapse at the time of the receipt of the same goods at Hadjikyriakos & Sons e-commerce site.
Reservation of title
Hadjikyriakos & Sons, reserves the title to the purchased product, up until the final settlement of the amount in the delivery agreement.
Defect warranty and liability
The guarantee period for products purchased through Hadjikyriakos e-commerce site is 24 months from the invoice date (SONY products other than Televisions are not included in the 24 months guarantee scheme). In the event of a guarantee claim, the products must be presented directly to Hadjikyriakos & Sons. Any costs of return of goods shall be borne by the customer. The guarantee extends to all defects which appear during the agreed guarantee period, insofar as these are demonstrably attributable to poor material or defective manufacture. At the discretion of the seller, the liability shall be limited to the repair, the replacement or the reimbursement of the invoice sum of the defective goods. Further claims of the buyer shall be excluded. In particular, Hadjikyriakos & Sons shall not be liable for faults/damages attributable to accidents, neglect, misuse, improper installation or improper use, natural wear, or for damages which do not arise in the object of the delivery itself (consequential harm caused by a defect). Any modifications or repair work performed without our consent or the written consent of the manufacturer as well as failure to adhere to the General Terms and Conditions shall abrogate the warranty liability.
Data protection
All personal data shall be handled in a confidential manner. The data required to settle the business transaction shall be stored and shall be forwarded to affiliated companies only within the framework of the settlement of the order.
