Right of Withdrawal

In your online purchases, you have the right to change your mind and withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any explanation .

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day after the day on which you acquire, or a third party designated by you – other than the carrier of Hadjikyriakos & Sons Ltd – acquires, physical possession of the goods. 

Exercise of the right of withdrawal

In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a registered letter sent by post to Hadjikyriakos & Sons Ltd, Hadjikyriakos Building 2nd ^floor  , 121 Prodromos Str., POBox 21587, 1511 Nicosia – Cyprus or to the email: info@hadjikyriakos.com.cy . You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your declaration of exercise of your right of withdrawal before the expiration of the withdrawal date.

Please note that the responsibility for proof of the date of sending the letter lies with you, the consumer. Therefore, we advise that in the case of sending the letter by post, the letter be sent by registered mail.

You can also fill in and submit the withdrawal form or any other clear statement electronically from our website www.hadjikyriakos.com.cy . If you use this option, we will send you a confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal to your email without delay.

Obligations of Hadjikyriakos & Sons Ltd in case of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the online contract, we will allow you to return all the money we have received from you, including the delivery costs (excluding the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out the above refund using the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any case, you will not be charged any costs for such refund.

We are entitled to delay the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

Buyer’s obligations in case of withdrawal

You must send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline shall be met if you send back the goods before the expiry of the 14-day period. You will only be liable for the direct costs of returning the goods.

In the case of goods that by their nature cannot normally be returned by post and have been delivered by us to your home, we will receive the goods at our own expense.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling that was not necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

 The right of withdrawal is not granted in the following cases, among others:

• Service contracts after the full provision of the service, if the execution began with the prior express consent of the consumer that he will lose his right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed by the company.
• The supply of goods manufactured according to the buyer’s specifications or clearly personalized.
• The supply of goods that may deteriorate or expire soon.
• The supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return, for health reasons, and which have been unsealed after delivery (personal care products).
